Mechanical thrombectomy is indicated for patients with acute ischemic stroke due to a large brain artery occlusion, (Clot) in the brain vessels who can be treated within 6 to 24 hours of Stroke. Patients Paralysis can be recovered after mechanical clot retrieval from brain vessel. Patient can walk, lift objects if reaches to hospital in Time i.e. 6 Hrs.

Stroke can be diagnosed with simple test called as FAST.

F – Deviation of Face to one side

A – Unable to lift Arm

S – Difficulty in Speech

T- Time

As these patients if reaches to hospital within 6 hrs of paralysis onset , can completely get rid of their paralysis.
